John & Julie are both native Mooks who have deep roots in Tillamook County. John’s family first came to the Tillamook area in 1910, and Julie’s family in 1947.

John grew up learning about coastal condition building and repairs from his Grandpa Charlie Fletcher who was a well known carpenter in the Tillamook area. John has had many years of experience in additional areas including constructing homes and out buildings, building and installing cabinets, building furniture, woodworking, minor plumbing and electrical, welding, metal fabrication, dairy farming, reforestation, lumber mill machinery and operating heavy equipment.

Julie grew up tagging along with her Dad and Grandpa’s where she learned how to use tools and make auto and home repairs. As a youngster she enjoyed taking shop classes more than home-ec classes. Julie has over 20 years of retail experience and handles the phone calls, estimates, bookkeeping and helps John on a day-to-day basis.

The Fletcher’s enjoy their rural home and have a son who is in grade school. As a family they’re very involved in the Tillamook community with organizations such as Cub Scouts, various music and sports groups, and their church. They especially enjoy the outdoors and go camping every chance they get.
